Ford Escort, Cortina and Anglia 1100/1300/1500/1600cc HI TORQUE Starter Motor Replacement
 
These starter motors Suit Negative earth sytems ONLY and replace the original Lucas M35 unit. They're compact and much lighter in weight (2.75 kg). As these starters are pre-engage, they are also an alternative remedy for a warn ring gear as they engage from the normally unused side. This starter will
bolt straight on and comes with instructions and a modification cable. Being a planetary-geared unit, it also draws less current. They have a distance out of mesh of 26.5 mm.
